This section contains Excel Workbooks on the vehicle stock (vehicles currently in use), vehicles first registered (including vehicles manufactured and vehicles imported), and age of vehicles. The specific Workbooks are:
11.1 Household spending
This Excel Workbook 'Household spending' contains seven data sheets. These are:
- Sheet Family spending 2001-02;
- Sheet Family spending 2005-06;
- Sheet Family spending 2007;
- Sheet HH expenditure transport;

- Sheet HH spend transport EU.

Sheet Family spending 2001-02
This reproduces material from the 2001-02 Expenditure and Food Survey.
Block A.5 to L.37 gives the weekly spending per household on 12 categories of goods and services, separately for each income decile group, and for the whole population, from Table 1.1 of Family Spending 2001-02. This block also gives details of the number of persons and households in the sample.
Block A.45 to L.68 gives details of the weekly spending per household on transport, separately for each income decile group, and for the whole population, from Table 1.3 of Family Spending 2001-02.
Block A.75 to L.81 gives car ownership per household separately for each income decile group, and for the whole population, from Table 9.5 of Family Spending 2001-02.
