The Excel Workbook 'Age of vehicles' contains two data sheets

Sheet 2005; and
Sheet 2006.

Contents of the data sheets are as follows

Sheet 2005

Block A.4 to K.66 contains original data from DfT Vehicle Licensing Statistics 2005 Table 7 on the number of cars, motorcycles, heavy goods vehicles and buses currently licensed in 2005 that were first licensed each year since 1980.

Block N.4 to W.66 provides an analysis of the percentage of cars, motorcycles, heavy goods vehicles and buses in 2005 aged between nothing and 25 years old.

Sheet 2006

Block A.4 to K.66 contains original data from DfT Vehicle Licensing Statistics 2006 Table 1.17 on the number of cars, motorcycles, heavy goods vehicles and buses currently licensed in 2006 that were first licensed each year since 1980.

Block N.4 to W.66 provides an analysis of the percentage of cars, motorcycles, heavy goods vehicles and buses in 2006 aged between nothing and 25 years old.
